Hi friends, Today going to tell you How to setup a cron job in godaddy hosting.

Step #1: Log in to your GoDaddy Cpanel account.
Step #2: in the Advanced section, click Cron jobs.
Step #3: Complete the on-screen fields detailing your Cron Job, and then click Add New Cron Job.

Here if you want to update your email address just give the new email address
other wise simply leave this filed.

In this you can set the corn job 1 minute 15 minites and so on ..
present i am setting once per minute.

Corn job command syntax is:

/usr/local/bin/php -q /home/[user name]/[path to the file]

A simple mail is set as a corn job

Now i receive the mails every minute.

  1. as most of my previous hoster just had the option for cron jobs to insert a url of a cron job script and wasn't aware, that there might be hosters like godaddy that allow accessing server programs directly I struggled on godaddy setting up a cron job until i found your video. very helpful thanks alot!
