  1. This is not the recommended approach since you uploaded everything inside public or public_html folder which is public access through web, all privileges file and content will be expose to every visitors, like your .env, etc.

    what you should do is to put all the file in public folder of your laravel project into public_html folder, then configure index.php to point to the appropriate autoload.php and bootstrap.php directory.
