  1. Hi OVH,
    I follow this doc: https://docs.ovh.com/gb/en/dedicated/network-ipaliasing/
And i'm using Ubuntu 16.04 Server (64-bit version). I made like this:
    cp /etc/network/interfaces /etc/network/interfaces.bak
    editor /etc/network/interfaces
    " auto eth0:0
    iface eth0:0 inet static
address IP_FAILOVER( change to my ip_failover)
    netmask 255.255.255.255
    post-up /sbin/ifconfig eth0:0 IP_FAILOVER( change to my ip_failover) netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast IP_FAILOVER( change to my ip_failover)
    pre-down /sbin/ifconfig eth0:0 down "
    and finaly,
    /etc/init.d/networking restart
but when i run "/etc/init.d/networking restart", has an error like this:
[….] Restarting networking (via systemctl): networking.serviceJob for networking.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status networking.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
    failed!
    Can you help me, please?

    THIS IS MY FILE"interfaces":
    # This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
    # and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

    # The loopback network interface
    auto lo
    iface lo inet loopback

    # Source interfaces
    # Please check /etc/network/interfaces.d before changing this file
    # as interfaces may have been defined in /etc/network/interfaces.d
    # See LP: #1262951
    source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*.cfg

    auto eth0:0
    iface eth0:0 inet static
    address 139.99.39.254
    netmask 255.255.255.255
    post-up /sbin/ifconfig eth0:0 139.99.39.254 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 139.99.39.254
    pre-down /sbin/ifconfig eth0:0 down
