  1. I was waiting for her to 'SELL' us her alternative lol. Of course she recommends because she works for them. Non-the-less, great review n I will look into both

  2. I would never suggest 1and1 / ionos to anyone other than as their domain registrar.

1and1 / ionos is truly a case of getting what you pay for. Their service is horrible, their services including their website are the most difficult to use (that I've experienced in 22 years of doing this stuff). If they weren't the cheapest they wouldn't be able to compete with any other host or registrar.

  3. I built a website for a guy years ago using 1and1, I had to get them to upgrade so that PHP and MySql was included in the package as it wasn't included in the package he had. I honestly had a pleasant experience building that site (from raw code, html, php etc.). However that said I never dealt with the business side of things. I am now looking to build, setup and get hosted another website for someone else (and later myself) and I looked at 1and1 because I had used it in the past and their prices honestly looked good. I tried calling their "24/7" number to ask more questions about a specific package, but after 20 minute wait I got an alarm bell and started looking up reviews and seeing these types of comments and then found your video. So thank you so much for this video, you probably just saved me a massive headache. Thanks, I'm also going to sub.

  4. I never had a problem with billing but I'm looking to switch cause I want a faster service for web hosting. I've been checking out SiteGround as my new home. Thanks for the video and very thorough info.
